At WindowMaster, we believe that fresh air doesn’t just belong inside buildings. It belongs in every part of a healthy, active life. That’s why since 2018, we’ve proudly supported the Swiss road cycling team Thömus | WindowMaster by Wyss Training—a team driven by performance, purpose, and a passion for the natural environment.
Founded by former UCI pro and two-time Tour de France finisher Marcel Wyss, the team combines elite-level ambition with a community-based spirit. Since its founding, it has grown into one of the most dynamic and versatile units in Swiss cycling—competing and winning at national and international levels in disciplines ranging from granfondo to ultracycling and track.
A team that keeps pushing the limits
With around 30 riders across various age groups, the team demonstrates the same qualities that define WindowMaster: consistency, innovation, and a deep-rooted commitment to excellence. Over the past five years, the team has built an impressive track record:
- Marcel Wyss claimed the Swiss national elite overall ranking three years in a row (2022–2024).
- In 2023 and 2024, Wyss also dominated the Ridermann, winning four stages and the overall classification in both years.
- Alina Mylka and Roman Locher each captured world titles at the Granfondo World Championships (2023–2024) in their respective age groups.
- The team celebrated three medals at the Masters Track World Championships 2024 in Roubaix, including a world title by Wyss and Barbara Schürch.
- Marco Rieder and Fabienne Tinguely earned Swiss ultracycling championships, with Tinguely taking victory in the gruelling Tortour 1000 km.
- From 2022 to 2024, the team dominated the legendary Rad am Ring 24-hour race at Nürburgring, winning three times in the four-person, 50+ category—one of the most prestigious endurance cycling events worldwide.
Most recently, on May 1st, 2025, the team delivered a standout performance at the Tour of Bern, with Wyss sprinting to 2nd place in the elite category, Patrick Fankhauser winning the "Open" category, and the full team claiming victory in the team classification.
