NV Comfort® controls roof and facade windows, which open or close automatically depending on the user’s pre-set preferences for room temperatures and CO2 levels, and outdoor temperature, rain and wind speed measurements.
Individual control
The preferred room temperature and CO2 level for individual rooms can be set using an NV Comfort® touchscreen installed in a central location in the building. Plus, the user can always open or close the window at the touch of a button should they require more or less fresh air. After an individually-set period of time, the system returns to automatic operation.
A special, patented technology called MotorLink® manages individual window communication and constantly monitors open windows. MotorLink® can open windows at three different speeds: slow speed near-soundless automatic operation; rapid, audible manual operation and high-speed operation for windows with smoke ventilation features.
Naturally, safety is an integral part of window design. If a window encounters an obstacle when closing window movement stops and the window open again.
Plenty of options
NV Comfort® is ideal for new buildings and for small and mid-size renovation projects, such as schools, offices, hotels, exhibition buildings, sports halls, etc. Moreover, the system can be extended so that the same touch screen can be used to control blinds, lighting, mechanical ventilation and heating.
Simple installation and implementation for qualified electricians
NV Comfort® is a BUS-based solution that utilises the widely-used KNX standard. This means that NV Comfort® is easy to install and commission.

The illustration below shows how the NV Comfort® solution can be compiled for a school
The school building consists of five classrooms with mixed mode ventilation and one staff room. Each classroom has four or six windows, each equipped with one actuator, and the window in the staff room is equipped with two actuators.
The windows in classrooms 3, 4 and 5 also have sun screens. Each room is fitted with one keypad, one room sensor (temp. / CO2 / humidity) and one PIR detector.
Classrooms 4 and 5 are also fitted with one LUX sensor. The NV Comfort® screen is placed in the staff room.
