Based on experience from many successful projects, as well as cooperation with well-known research institutions, WindowMaster has developed the NV Advance™ control system, an advanced system designed specifically for buildings designed with Natural Ventilation. The NV Advance™ system is based on flexible modules, which are easily adapted to the specifications for each building e.g.:
The location and construction of the building
The design
The size of the building
The purpose and use of the building
Average wind speed and prevailing wind direction
Window and facade construction and related wind currents through windows and doors
Seasonal influences
A comfortable indoor climate relies on the precise control of the window openings. The NV Advance™ ensures this is achieved via a number of parameters. It is important to know how wind speed/direction influences airflow through different windows. To set such parameters, WindowMaster determines each window’s Cp value by calculating air pressure for a number of different wind directions. Via the simultaneous monitoring of indoor/outdoor temperature, CO2, wind speed/direction and precipitation, WindowMaster’s NV Advance™ system automatically controls the window opening and closing to achieve the best indoor climate.
In order to achieve better control of the indoor climate, the NV Advance™ control system will subdivide the building in several climate sections. The system will then monitor and control each section individually. With the NV Advance™ system each room can constitute, if it is desired, a single climate section. Thereby an individual operation of the indoor climate in several rooms is achieved. The system contains the following pre-programmed modes of operation:
