Job Overview

As Strategic Account Manager, you will be crucial in driving growth and maintaining strong partnerships with selected key accounts in the façade industry, such as system and profile houses. You will be responsible for maintaining our global key accounts and client satisfaction, revenue generation, and overall key account success. This role requires a combination of strategic and operational thinking, a focus on sales growth, customer experience skills, and a deep understanding of our industry combined with daily sales-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Accounts

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expansion within existing accounts and collaborations.
  • Maintain and develop product and solution roadmaps.
  • Understanding technical challenges seen from Strategic Accounts perspective
  • Overviewing the opportunities and account activities and maintaining them
  • Ensuring CRM information
  • Maintaining pricing agreements
  • Ensuring handling of operational invoicing
  • Act as the main point of contact when strategic opportunities develop into critical accounts.

2. Improving client satisfaction and choices - Key Account Management

  • Addressing our strategic accounts continuously, exploring and fostering strategic opportunities in all markets, but focusing on the DACH market.
  • Ensuring the collaboration and maintenance with our Danish/German façade key customers

3. Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and product development, to align strategies and deliver value to strategic accounts.

4. Risk Management

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges within key accounts to ensure long-term partnering and revenue.
  • Proactively address issues and concerns, working closely with internal teams to find timely and effective solutions.

Working relationships / key stakeholders / other requirements

  • Product Management, Sales, and Operations, as well as Marketing teams in Vedbæk, Denmark
  • Production facility in Herford, Germany
  • Position is in either Vedbæk, Denmark or Hamburg, Germany or in proximity of Herford, Germany

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will be responsible for

  • Strategic Relationship building and Account Management
  • Leading internal and external meetings
  • Drive pricing, forecasting, new product introductions, certifications, etc.
  • Maintaining existing customer-adapted products/solutions.
  • Budgets
  • Handling CRM
  • Outlining portfolio needs and creating decision material for our Chief Product Officer
  • Train customers on product material, facilitate communication with customers, and provide internal support within HQ and local sales subs.

Qualifications

  • Years of proven experience in strategic technical and operational sales or a related role
  • Strong understanding of our industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Written and oral German language skills are a must, as several vital relationships are based in Germany.
  • English at proficiency level
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.
  • Influencing product and solutions roadmaps
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining solid relationships.
  • The ability to effectively communicate issues and your recommendations clearly across organizational levels.
